From Curiosity to Capability: TKD²'s AI Journey and What Comes Next

At TKD² Group, we’ve always believed in smart execution. Over the past 18 months, that mindset has guided our quiet but deliberate shift into applied AI and intelligent automation. What began as light exploration has evolved into a clear strategy with real operational value.

This post shares a behind-the-scenes look at our progress—and where we’re headed next.

2023–2024: From Chatbots to Capability

Our AI journey began, like many others, with generating goofy images in tools like ChatGPT. But it didn’t take long to realize the real potential wasn’t in casual Q&A—it was in intelligent systems that could support our deep relationship-building work in the U.S. manufacturing space.

We quickly reframed our goal:
🧩 How can AI support and supplement—not replace—our high-trust, technical sales model?  How can it help make a team of 8 work like 80?!

To answer that, we focused first on what matters most: data.

2025: Getting Our Data House in Order

Before AI could scale, we needed clarity. and DATA!  That meant getting our data, files, and workflows into clean, connectable systems. It wasn’t flashy—but it was foundational.

We focused on:

✅ Structuring internal and client content for use in GPT agents (docs, decks, one-pagers, email threads)
✅ Building out a centralized CRM system to track client wins, target accounts, and growth plans
✅ Creating reusable frameworks for LinkedIn posts, technical messaging, and proposal support
✅ Standardizing our language around value propositions (especially for EV, eMobility, and HMI clients)

The result? We now have a data layer that’s usable by people and agents alike—a critical step toward automation. Things are still progressing - but the foundation is there.

2026: Agent Workflows & Automation Testing

Now the real work begins.

In 2026, our primary focus is building and testing agent workflows—automations that support (but don’t overstep) the nuanced work of industrial business development.

We’re exploring:

🔁Client specific research bot's: tailored and learning for each clients products, USP, and evolving with wins / losses.

🔁 Proposal and outreach Assistants: Drafting personalized outreach, followup, quote cover letters, capability responses, and initial outreach

🔗 CRM-integrated agents: Suggesting next steps and prepping notes based on sales cycles and client updates

📊 LinkedIn analytics loops: Using past post performance to refine future messaging and drive deeper engagement

⚙️ Automated content testing: Comparing agent-generated copy across tone, technical depth, and engagement rates

We’re taking a cautious, human-in-the-loop approach. Our aim is not just automation—but trustworthy augmentation that aligns with how our clients actually buy.

What We’ve Learned (So Far)

💡 Start with structure—AI is only as smart as the data you feed it
💡 Don’t “do AI”—solve a specific problem and pull the right tech in afterward
💡 Build for humans first—agent workflows only succeed when they respect the real-life rhythm of sales and trust-building

Looking Ahead

TKD² isn’t becoming a tech company. But we are becoming a company that uses tech to punch above our weight.

We’re not just talking about AI—we’re designing ways to deploy it for real outcomes:
→ better reach
→ smarter follow-up
→ stronger relationships
→ faster business wins for our clients

If you’re exploring AI in your own industrial sales or technical marketing strategy, we’re always happy to share what we’ve learned.

📩 Curious how this applies to your team or product? Let’s talk.
